Breeden Construction, the nationally recognized Richmond-based general contracting firm, today announced the promotion of AJ Dalton to Director of Preconstruction.  Dalton joined Breeden Construction in 2020 as the Preconstruction manager.

As Breeden Construction’s new Director of Preconstruction, Dalton will continue to build relationships with potential clients and project partners while pursuing strategic project opportunities. Under Dalton’s guidance, the preconstruction division is responsible for consulting with clients regarding their project’s budgeting, design management, subcontractor relations and cost data administration. “AJ has been a key part of our success in preconstruction, and we were thrilled to promote him to this important position,” said Breeden Construction President, Brian Revere. As Director of Preconstruction, AJ will also serve as a key member of the leadership team.

Dalton is an undergraduate of Hampden-Sydney College and received his Master of Arts degree from George Mason University. Dalton has almost 7 years of experience in the retail and commercial construction industry, most recently serving as an Estimator with Brand Builds.
